The Pina Bausch Foundation is an independent foundation under public law and is listed in the register of legally independent foundations in the administrative district of Düsseldorf under the registration number 21.13 - St. 1460. The board of trustees is authorised to represent the foundation. The board of trustees represents the foundation both in and out of court. It has the status of a legal representative. Each member oft he board of trustees holds sole power of representation. The district administration in Düsseldorf is the foundation supervisory agency (Stiftungsaufsichtsbehörde), the Ministry of the Interior of the Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia is the superior foundation supervisory agency (Oberste Stiftungsaufsichtsbehörde).

The Pina Bausch Foundation follows the principle of data avoidance and data economy. This website is subject to the provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz) and the German Telemedia Act.

On this website, personal data will only be stored where absolutely necessary for legal or technical reasons. Users of this webpage will not be tracked; analysis software such as Google Analytics is not used. Also, we avoid the use of so-called social media buttons since those track your surfing behaviour. The use of this website is thus essentially anonymous.

The following data automatically needs to be stored in a server log file:

  • Browser type und -version
  • Operating system
  • Date and time of access
  • Name of the Internet service used, the resource called and the action used
  • Volume of data transmitted
  • Information as to whether the call was successful
  • Referrer (URL of the previous page you visited)
  • Pages viewed

The IP address of the user is anonymised in real-time and will not be memorised.

Two cookies that will be deleted automatically after 24 hours are placed on the inquiring address. The cookie “language” saves the language choice for that period of time. The cookie “PHPSESSID” is required by the used content management system and serves to grant access to administrators and members of the judging panel during a session.

Beyond this, personal data is only collected and processed if it is expressly and knowingly provided for a specific purpose, in particular when using the application form or in case of contact queries via email. All data entered into the application form and transmitted to the server is SSL encoded. It is stored electronically and will only be used for internal purposes, or such that are related to the Pina Bausch Fellowship. This includes the transfer of the data to the members of the judging panel and to the co-sponsoring partner Arts Foundation of NRW, both of which are not entitled to forward the data. Apart from this, no personal data will be forwarded to any third parties unless we are obliged to do so by law or following a court order. You may at any time demand information about the personal data we have stored about you, and have it corrected or deleted.
